Previously, Dawn served as Deputy Chief Economist at RBC, where she led forecasting and advisory teams, and held roles with Bloomberg Financial News and J.P. Morgan Canada. She is also a passionate advocate for advancing women’s participation and leadership in the labour market.

Ross Prusakowski is the Deputy Chief Economist & Director of Export Development Canada’s Country & Sector Intelligence team (CSI). CSI is responsible for  providing country and sector analysis in support of transactions, risk ratings as well as highlighting global risks and opportunities for EDC, our customers and partners.

 

Ross’ previous experience includes working for the Conference Board of Canada and with the Government of Alberta’s Department of Finance.

 

Ross holds a master’s digree in economics from the University of Ottawa as well as an undergraduate degree in economics and history from the University of Alberta.

John Shin

Senior G10 FX Strategist

About the Speaker

John Shin joined BofA Securities as a senior G10 FX strategist, based in New York. He is responsible for the flagship monthly publication, “World at a Glance.” Previously, Shin was both a G10 FX strategist and a U.S. economist at Lehman Brothers. He was also a postdoctoral research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and worked in the Macroeconomic and Quantitative Studies section of the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C.

 

Shin holds a doctorate in economics from Harvard University, where he was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. He holds a B.A. in economics from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated with high honors.
