About the Speaker

Stephen Callaghan has been with Export Development Canada (EDC) since 2000 and currently serves as Vice‑President for the Mid‑Market Business Development team. In this role, he leads a national team of Relationship Managers, providing crucial support to EDC’s customers and partners as they navigate growth in global markets.

 

Throughout his tenure at EDC, Stephen has held several key leadership positions, including Regional Vice‑President for the Ontario Region and Regional Director in the Greater Toronto Area. He also led the Ontario International Trade Guarantee team, assisting clients with their international bonding needs.

 

Stephen is deeply committed to supporting Canadian companies in their international growth. He actively engages across the trade ecosystem through industry roundtables, conferences, Accelerated Growth Services (AGS – Accelerated Growth Services), the Trade Accelerator Program, and Team Canada Trade Missions. He also works closely with numerous trade associations across Canada.

 

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.

George Angus is Ross Video’s CFO and SVP Administration responsible for all financial, compliance and administrative (Legal, HR, IT, Facilities management) functions of the global Canadian Company. Ross Video has 18 subsidiaries in Canada, the US, Germany, Austria, UK, Australia, Singapore, China and India.


Over his 45 year professional career George has held senior executive and Board roles within several technology organizations. Most notably prior to joining Ross Video George was President of Fisher Scientific Canada and Latin America leading a Company focused on the laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotech and educational sectors, Chief Operating Officer of Sustainable Development Technology Canada (a Cleantech financing organization now merged with NRC) and Global Finance Director of Data Networks (Packet/IP) and Optical Networks organizations within Nortel/Bell Northern Research.

 

George is a CPA CA and an alumni of Carleton University in Ottawa. George resides in Ottawa, Ontario and Lac-Supérieur, Quebec.
