Each year, Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada) recognizes a member who has made significant contributions to advocating and improving FEI Canada.
The Frank S Capon Distinguished Service Award seeks to identify and reward an FEI Canada member who has had a significant impact on FEI Canada over the years. It is the highest award that FEI Canada gives to a volunteer.
Join us as we honour a distinguished, very deserving Capon Award Winner at the Wednesday, June 2 social networking event.
About the Award of Distinction:
Frank S. Capon is credited with bringing FEI to Canada. He was a member for 57 years and was the only member in this country to have been with the organization longer than any Canadian chapter has been in existence. Frank clearly understood the benefits of membership in such a prestigious organization, but acknowledged the commute to dinner meetings was tough. So, Frank recruited a number of colleagues in Montreal and applied for a local Control charter. The Montreal Chapter was chartered on December 3, 1948 with Frank serving as its first President.
